So life is okay, I guess. Just finished having exam period, thank God it's over. There's always something in it, I guess. Some of it was pretty awesome, like PDH, where I had a long rant about the law and the legal age to doink someone. Then I had Geography, where it was an hour long and I almost fell asleep, that's how boring it was. And then I had Maths, which I finished half an hour early, then spent the rest of the time panicking because everyone else was still writing. Then there's English. Fucked that up royally. Uh huh.

Anyways, so that's all over. *yawn* Emotions are sort of mixed for me at the moment. I'm feeling great, relieved from the darned exams gone by, but at the same time, I'm feeling quite pissed off, frustrated and at times, strangely euphoric. As great as it is, that I'm feeling great, sometimes I just wish I'm not where I am, and I'm just somewhere different. But without an aim in life, that's sort of hard.

That's probably as a cause of going halfsies with my medication. Yay as it seems, if I don't take it, I'm suicidal. If I do that it, I'm basically like a druggie on ecstacy. I vote the middle ground.

Anyhow. Have any of you thought about the future? What sort of qualities do you see as being something you see in someone else other than the typical cliche of kind, considerate and at least a little bit good looking? A secure future, wealth, maybe the small hint of progression? What about your own future? Would you be happy in a job where the only thing you got was a pat on the back and a congratulations instead of a promotion? When you were a teenager, still in school, did you know what you wanted to do?

Would just be interesting to know these things...

I know! I know! How unfortunate! But it's true! after her much exaggerated hiatus, she's back! Either to most of your misfortune, or other, but I'm back. Truth be told, it was truly a hiatus in that I did close to NOTHING art-wise. I have, however, done one piece of still-life from which I will post here in the coming days if my scanner feels like working.

Anyhow! In other things, I'm sorry I've taken such a long time away. Things have been quite normal; gained new friends, kept old friends, sat exams, watched the world turn, allowing fate to unwind its coils of day-by-days. Fun thing, life, isn't it?

In other news... I've managed to establish a band, of which is still only in the establishing stages. It's called Kept Confessionals just for the reference. I'm not going to elaborate much now because there's not much to say but we're in the songwriting mode of things, but if in the case we do come up with something, I shall inform you =]

Well, I think that's about it for now! I should be doing my studying for my Major exams coming in a week's time (which go for the next two weeks) so I'm going to go head off and do some of that! Take care and stay safe everyone!

Well, I guess it's time for an update.

I'm sorry to have worried all of your guys but really, thank you all. You've made me feel a hell of a lot better.

I need time to think through everything. I'm not going to be posting anything on dA for a while. I've lost interest in art all together for now so it's no use trying.

So if you don't hear from me for a few weeks, it's okay. I'm still around on dA, I'm just not doing anything for myself for a while.

But everyone, thanks. You've really made me smile for a smallest time in my life. Words can't explain it, but yeah, thanks.

ANIMANIA MINI 08

Well, as I said a few journal entries ago, I'll be attending Animania 2008... and I did! For all those who haven't figured it out yet, Animania is a Anime Convention for the weird and the wonderful world of anime, manga and video games.

This year, Mini was held at Citigate Central, near Chinatown. At first, I didn't really know what to expect, but now, I can't wait til the next one! There were so many people there and so many different things to do! And not only that, I bought a print from the wonderful *heise, lucky I discovered her Anyhow, I went with a group of friends, including these wonderful deviants!

We also managed to have friends of mine as Urahara and Hitsuguya from Bleach. One of the friends of Hitsugaya and Urahara cosplayed as some Grand Fisher (Bleach) looking dude from Ghost in a Shell though. And that was also awesome!

And some photos of going to ramen at Ichi-ban Boshi in the TGV after we disrobed and said “ITAKIMAS!”. I know, ramen is so a Japanese thing, but it was lunchtime at 3pm, we were hungry and it was just opposite (most of) our favourite Japanese book store, Kinokuniya.

Anyhow, Mini was an amazing day to be going in a huge group and going. All in all, I think there were 18 of us who went in our group. It was an uber day with all of us there. There were so many people and so many people doing really hardcore cosplaying! And it was also great because I had heaps of people asking for my photo and to have photos with them. It was such fun! I can’t wait until Supernova, Smash and Animania08!
